I first needed to learn and identify what were the key details that drove a customer to make a purchase. In our initial discovery phase we conducted various research tactics in order to find our answers. These tactics included site analysis, customer service tickets, in-person user interviews, and competitor research.
Some of the findings were to improve our filtering system, improve our CLP and PDP to include tentree mission at every touch point.
To improve conversion I've design an upsell cart and a quick add to cart
The vast majority of tentree ad spend goes towards facebook ads. Which means the user is redirected to a product collection page or a product description page. As part of our research we noticed that many users no idea what tentree's mission was upon landing on these types of pages. My solution was to covey tentree's mission at every touch point of the purchasing flow. I've added a clickable butter bar above the main nav stating the amount of trees planted to date.
In order to have a cohesive UI I've created an extensive Design System that allow future designers to create and improve site features quickly
